Commercial ground clearance, turfing at Piccadilly Grove

Commercial landscaping, ground clearance before,  during and after

Bradley Lakes Turf in conjunction with Vital Properties, were commissioned to clear and rework a row of houses at Piccadilly Grove.  All the gardens were completely overgrown and covered in debris.  Our commercial landscaping team were instructed to free the gardens from debris, replenish them with quality top soil and turf.

The weather conditions were extreme with heavy rain.  We initially started clearing each gardens with a mini diggers (heavy plant machinery would sink and cause further damage) moving the debris to the top of each garden.

A large skip with grab facilities was then required on every garden to remove and recycle the large quantity of waste. As the poor contaminated top soil was removed, fresh screened quality soil was delivered and transported into each garden to replenish the ground (once it had been aerated and levelled). Transporting the top soil and turf into each garden was no easy task as the heavy rain caused the machinery wheels to sink into the ground.  Luckily we own track mounted machinery which allowed us to carry the materials without sinking and causing further work. Quality turf was supplied fresh and laid off planks to avoid disturbing the ground or the level.

Despite the horrendous conditions our commercial landscaping lads completed each task, delivered on time with excellent results.
